Good Companions is a befriending service in South Essex which aims to improve the lives of people with severe mental illness by reducing isolation and helping people to recover meaningful social activities

Good Companions has been funded by South Essex Health Authority and run by rethink severe mental illness since 1997.

Rethink is the largest mental health organization in the UK - supporting people with a severe mental illness, their families and carer’s.
